The food you see on this blog is the food we really eat. Our diets consist of nutrient-dense real food: mostly animal protein and vegetables, some dairy, healthy fats, and little to no processed foods. We occasionally indulge in treats (usually ice cream in my case), but we eat them with the knowledge that they are not part of our normal diet, and that while they might not be especially bad for us, they certainly aren’t the healthiest choices.
